Montreal filmmaker and mom Tally Abecassis recently emailed me to tell me about her new podcast called First Day Back.
It’s about getting back to her filmmaking career after taking 6 years off to be with her kids. It’s an audio documentary that will follow her story.
She’ll be bringing her microphone into her home, her kids’ daycare, work meetings and including all of it.
It’s incredibly well done. I highly recommend listening to it.
She’s conflicted about going back as her mom, who passed away from cancer 7 years ago, was a doting stay at home mom and Tally feels conflicted about wanting to return to work.
She’s smart, likeable and utterly identifiable for me.
