My bags are packed(yes, I’m Type A as in anal) and my little guys went to sleep early tonight so I ran off to the local bookstore and picked up a book for the airplane.
I don’t have time(scratch that, I won’t make time) to make this go the correct way, somewhat fitting as it sits.
Came home and saw my daughter’s suitcase lying in the driveway, forgotten from the days play.
Tugged at my heart strings in many ways.
I know my kids will be well taken care of, probably even have a great time while I re-charge my batteries surrounded by old friends while making some new.
