Expressing Motherhood Heads to Dubuque, Iowa

Expressing Motherhood is headed to Dubuque, Iowa for the first time this summer. Local Producer/Director Kerry Anderson will be bringing #ExMoShow to beautiful Iowa in July.
Kerry Anderson
Kerry is a South Bay mom and ExMoShow alum,  just about every summer she visits her sister and her family in Dubuque.  “My children get to hang out with their cousins and experience a true midwestern summer complete with frog catching, fireflies, and porch eatin’ popsicle time.
Through Expressing Motherhood I’ve met many people with extraordinary stories who were brave enough to share it with an audience.  After every show audience members would rush up to performers to tell them, “That’s my story!” or “Thank you, I needed to hear that story.”  Expressing Motherhood is a gift and I want to bring that gift to one of my favorite places in the country, Dubuque.”
Karen Anderson Rothert
Kerry’s sister, Karen Anderson Rothert, and her family live in Dubuque. She will also be acting as a Local Producer along with Kerry. The show ill be performed at Karen’s alma mater, Loras College. This is the only way she could get her sister to extend her vacation time.  She is excited to become an official member of the Expressing Motherhood community.
Submissions will be accepted April 10th- 14th, please send submissions to dubuque(at)expressingmotherhood.com For more submissions info please visit our submissions page.
Performers will be announced April 17th.
There will be one rehearsal on Friday, July 14th from 6:30-9:30PM. The performance will be Saturday, July 15th at 7:00PM at Loras College in the St. Joseph’s Auditorium in Hoffman Hall.
As always, Expressing Motherhood is looking for people to share their stories about motherhood on stage. Pieces need to be 5 minutes maximum. We are looking for true stories. Your stories, about motherhood. Need not be a mom!
Expressing Motherhood is thrilled to have Kerry  and Karen bring this to Iowa. Looking forward to it. #ExMoShow

Expressing Motherhood is headed to Tacoma, Washington

Expressing Motherhood  is excited to debut a new cast in Tacoma, Washington this Fall.

Mount_Rainier_over_Tacoma

Local Producer Andrea Archambault will be leading this cast and taking the show back to her home city.

AndreaBusiness
Andrea was born and raised in the Seattle/Tacoma area and has a love for everything Northwest! Since moving to Redondo Beach, CA, she realizes that she even misses the rain!  She is a wife to the most incredibly supportive husband, mom to a spirited, hilarious little girl, and a step-mom to two amazing teenage boys, an entrepreneur and a self proclaimed foodie. She is the founder/owner of andreaarchambault.com. In her career as a Health Coach she helps moms reduce stress, anxiety and overwhelm, increase energy and get their glow back! Working with moms is her passion as she knows both the joy, challenges, and messiness that come with motherhood.

untitled-42-2

She is a true believer that we are more alike, then we are different.  Everyone has a story and when we share these stories with the world, it brings us closer together. When she attended her first Expressing Motherhood show, she was instantly in love and inspired!  As the first story was shared on that stage, she knew that Expressing Motherhood had to make it to the Northwest!  Prior to starting her Health Coaching Practice, Andrea worked for a small community theatre company.  There she learned the ins and outs of theatre production and management. This job was put in her life to prepare her to become a local Producer/Director for Expressing Motherhood-Tacoma.

The shows will be this Fall at the Tacoma Youth Theatre. We will announce dates and times ASAP.

o

We first need to find a cast full of local Washington moms, dads, women and men. If you are interested in sharing your story about motherhood on stage please submit your story to tacoma@expressingmotherhood.com on these dates: June 28 &29.

If you have questions please reach out to Local Producer/Director Andrea at tacoma@expressingmotherhood.com
